I agree with Pat and David, this is a great online learning school.
Like Pat I've managed to learn Whiskey before breakfast and I'm
getting my speed up gradually, along with other stuff.
I'm not a big fan of blues,I love Irish and bluegrass, so I'm leaning
towards the tunes lessons, but I have been learning some of the blues
stuff and playing along with the backing tracks, hey, it's sounds
pretty cool !!
It's growing on me,but most of all it's fun, so I guess I'll be here
for awhile yet ;-)
Harp on folks and a Happy and, harping New Year.

Happy New Year guys! Glad that you're enjoying it here. There are a
few new online harmonica schools now, the more the merrier I say. When
I started there was almost nothing in the way of instruction. There is
still not much, compared to say piano or guitar. But still a lot
better than it used to be.
Keep going with the instrumental tunes. They force you to play
accurately, there is nowhere to hide with them. Regardless of the
styles you play, the increased precision will has to help.
Good luck with 2010.

i had to check out the 2 new schools that everyones talking about on
the net.Howard levys and David Barret,And although they look nice,I
dont see where they any better than our school,And i could never
afford there prices. Our school is prices where i can afford to complet
it even if it takes me years thanks Tony cuase im a poor musician. And
thank you for turning me on to Celtic music.Im allmost got the
Planexty irin completed. When i first started i didnt have much
interest in the tunes lessons. Now im spending more time on those
lessons than the blues, although we have a good set of blues lessons as
well. The Celtic tunes is something that sets this school apart from
any of the others its a strong selling point.I feel like im really
learning a instrument cuase im learning music i never thought i would
be able to learn.I will post my progress on the song Planexty Irin
when i feel more comfortable playing it.Music like that seems to teach
more disipline cuase you cant make a mistake or improv it.Again thanks
Tony
