Much More Blues

Now that you have started with blues, it is time for more advanced techniques. Bending notes is fundamental to blues harmonica. You have been introduced to bending, this module explores the skill in depth. You will also learn much about phrasing, that is, how to put blues solos together.

The most important leaning activity however is to play as much blues as possible. It is best to do this with another musician, for example, an acoustic guitar player. If you have met someone like this, then great! If not, we provide a backing tracks for you. You will enjoy playing along with these, do so frequently.

Once this module is finished, you will have the basic techniques for blues playing. Of course, there is still much more to learn.
